Introduction to Federal Concepts

This panel is designed primarily for those new to filing lawsuits in federal district court, although seasoned litigators are welcome to join the conversation. Using U visa applicants as examples, Bob Pauw, Matt Adams and Gail Pendleton will provide an overview of issues that arise in federal court litigation, and brainstorm ways to overcome obstacles to obtaining relief. This session will help you to add district court litigation to your immigration practice toolkit.
